Another classic, this time hailing from the sun-soaked coast of Italy. Negronis have always been famous for their refreshing quality, low-ABV expression, and delightfully bittersweet balance. With this sparkling twist, Honey Bubbles offers a slightly sweeter and more floral counterpart to Italian aperitif, and the result is succulent and highly drinkable.
0.75 oz Italian Sweet Vermouth
0.75 oz Bitter Italian Rossa
0.75 Dry Gin
1 oz Honey Bubbles to top.
Combine all ingredients except for Honey Bubbles into a mixing glass. Add ice, and stir until delicately viscous, or until the spoon does a full turn against the ice without obvious resistance. Strain into a small rocks glass over a single cube of ice. Top with Honey Bubbles and garnish with an orange peel.
